WordPress.com does not allow plugins so I found two workarounds:

To list my twitters I am including the rss feed on the left. Twitter has a javascript to do it nicely, but it was getting stripped all the time.

To have my blog posts go to twitter I am using twitterfeed.com.

Does anyone have any more straightforward ways to do the connections? These strike me as workaround hacks.

Well, livejournal is going to start slapping ads on my blogs whenever people view them. Time to start blogging here instead. My old entries are at http://kara_h.livejournal.com and will be moved here eventually.
